The Worlds - Beja Portugal., June 26-29 2003 The worlds become the first major bmx contest to offer a women's class. WOF continued to make its recommendation to require a class to consist of 5 or more girls. Before the contest happened i seemed to be getting a lot of response, i really thought the contest would see a good turn out and some awesome riders from the girls in Europe. But when all was said and done, flatland only had 4 girl riders participate, and street only one rider. The street rider happened to be our own Kari Olandese who went all the way from Oregon. She rode in the men's class and I'm sorry to say its slipping my mind what place she got (if you know, email me). The 4 flatlanders had their girls class which i hear was very competitive. All the girls had a great time, and were siked to get to meet some other girls. I'd like to thank the following people for sending photos in: Marie, Ana Marta Franko, Karin Bleile, and Artz1 ClothingWomen's Flatland Results
